This piece was original just a piece that we did as a practice all together in class but after that class, I continued to work on it and I put a lot of effort into this piece so I decided to make it my second piece. Minus the moon I decided on keeping the piece in a monochrome of purple and I really liked how I did that. I am quite proud of the blending that I did. I spent a lot of time working on the blending, it is a pet peeve of mine, the blending has to be nice, I can't stand it if something is poorly blended.

Watercolor Project
Master Artist: Claude Monet

Modern Artists: Paul Crimi

My Painting:

Personal Thoughts: I am not too big of a fan of this piece, I find it quite boring. Looking back at it now, I feel that it could use more detail and I also think that I made the trees too brown when they were suppose to be just more of an off white color. If I were to redo this piece over again, I think I'd try to bring more individuality to the piece to make it stand out more.
